Measures to keep food safe from various contamination, decay are integrated in the system. Primarily cashew kernels should be free from pathogens and chemicals that can cause injury to the consumer. Also it should be free from foreign objects like metal, paper, plastic etc.
Each process, the location, the people etc have been analysed for various safety requirements. Hazards at these points have been identified. These hazards are eliminated to the extend possible. Certain hazards may not be eliminated to full extent. Such points have procedures and measures to continuously monitor and control these hazards.
Our systems continuously improve by changing and correcting the systems as and when required.
